If she was thin when you met her and then got fat telling her to lose weight would probably help. Just general dread game helps with this too. If she is afraid to lose you she will take care of herself.
However if she had the extra weight when you met her, then no it won’t accomplish anything. She’ll never be more motivated to be attractive than when she’s single and looking to hook a man. When I was in college, I worked part time as a musician. One day a fantastic pianist blew through town. Very talented. Naturally, everyone wanted to play with him, and before you knew it he was gigging all over town. Problem is, freedom of association might have been arguable when the country was 90% white. But the left has forced inclusion on us for decades; forced desegregation, affirmative action, suing those Christian bakers all the way to the Supreme Court, open borders, etc.

This is also a reply to trav777’s comment about the Khmer Rouge to some extent. I recall that in the 90s there was a lot of smugness on the Right about how we had finally, decisively, defeated collectivist and totalitarian ideology. The collapse of the Eastern Bloc was fresh in people’s minds after all. It seemed reasonable that freedom, both economic and political, was to be the dominant theme of the 21st century.
The problem is that the Right then was dominated by lots of clever egghead llibertarian types with high IQs and weak to non-existent religious faith. Since the 20th century trends of urbanization, de-sacralization, and the replacement of local culture with mass produced ideological content have continued, it stands to reason that the 21st century was bound to see people return to wallow in secular Leftist totalitarian utopianism. Since the numbers of people involved in all this are now much larger it would cause me little surprise if our peaceful 21st century world ended up producing dozens of new Maos, Pol Pots, and Lenins, and Che Guevaras – with body counts in the billions this time.

in manhattan, dc and minded cities, many of the new restaurants while not explicit “chains” they are all parts of restaurant groups and investor funds. and all those money sharks (with bigger noses than mouth) invested in people with the same views. you can check that in any interview in such places like ny times restaurant section, eater,etc. so it’s hard to find real independent and mom-and-pop restaurants in such high-density areas.
if you’re a right-wing (of any sort) you’ll have more problems in such places than “ethnic” restaurants ironically. whites and “fellow” whites are the most histerical people. you’ll probably have more problems in a “Modern american” restaurant than an thai.
old-style restaurants are a dying breed. for example, in brooklyn, queens and even bronx you have a relative good number of oldstyle italian-american restaurants and delis. but most of their consumers moved decades and/or are dying. this reminds of the newark church scene in the sopranos

Yes, a lot of places that purport to be independent and authentic are actually chains/franchises set up with investor funds. They’re the only kind of operations that can get through the bureaucratic red tape hoops of modern cities. Independent operators and family businesses have a tough time getting financing and affording the specialized legal services necessary. (This is part of the problem of SCALE they bang on about at MPC.)

I have mentioned this before: america incentives people to move around too much. this makes people have this cosmpolitan attitude. different city for high school, than college, eurotrip, africa trip, than first work, than suburbs, then retirement home. people dont create roots in a specific place. while america it’s big, you should focus on some place and cherish it. that’s why the suburbanization was a consolation goal rather than a victory
