I should note I’m guilty of all of the above, as much as I try not to indulge. It’s a defense mechanism against the awfulness of post-modern America. One can only expose one’s self and be burned so many times before the hardened shell of nihilism returns.

OT perhaps, but that Pax Dickinson piece may be related to a brewing storm in the comic book world. There’s this thing going on right now called “Comicsgate,” which is essentially normal fans figuring out that their hobby has been taken over by SJW nut jobs. Also, there are a couple of right-wing comic professionals who are turning to self-publishing, and this seems to be driving the comic book world absolutely insane.
The most notable of these is Ethan Van Sciver, who’s raised almost half a million dollars for his Cyberfrog book. He committed the terrible sin of voting for Trump, and the Left is out for blood. He was interviewed for this Rolling Stone article too.
Might seem stupid or “fringe” to some guys around here, but taking back the publishing world and by extension, pop culture, should be of supreme importance to everybody.

Star Wars is finding itself in this mess as well, what with the filmmakers and producers blaming the failures of Solo and the poor reception of The Last Jedi on White men who can’t handle strong women characters.
I’ve been keeping tabs on this for some time now and those White men not yet fully RP are starting to wake up. A few I’d say are purple pilled so there’s hope, but several others have some good YT channels and are good entries for normies one might know about to serve an intro for more hardcore info.
TL;DR—KathleanedIn Kennedy rode the coattails of more successful and talented filmmakers to become the head of Lucasfilm and imparted her feminist agenda to the Star Wars only for it to spectacularly backfire on her

Funny you bring up The Last Jedi. Came on Netflix yesterday, couldn’t get past the first 5 minutes with the infantile X-wing fighter attempting to troll the bad guy commander. It was really bad, and super cheesy. Made me want to pine for those fucking ewoks from the 80’s.

Comics, at least the big name comics, have always been very jewed. At least in past decades they’d cater to straight white males with just touches of subversion thrown in to the various series, but now you aren’t getting published unless you’re putting out nonstop “woke” pink haired shit that appeals to no one in the core audience of readers. That’s the reason I have TBs of digital copies of old Conan the Barbarian + various fringe /outsider comics saved on my hard drive. I expect all physical remnants of any of that stuff to be shoah’d any day now.
