Comment Of The Week: The Expedience Ideology

July 12, 2018 by CH

COTW winner is Libertardian, with this pithy gem:

June 26, 2018: BUT MUH (ILLEGAL) CHILLUNS
June 27, 2018: BUT MUH ABORTIONS

Shitliberalism is sophistry in service to power. The routine contradictions of their ideology are a feature, not a bug.

And before 6/26 it was the Korea deal. And before that, it was the FBI texts and IG report. And before that. . .

The overreaction and seemingly desire to capture lightning in a nanozeitgeist amount of time has to be exhausting for all but the most psychotic. As though every instance of every moment has to be whatever outrage happened to have gone “viral” that day.

It’s such a flash-in-the-pan ideology one would never know what they’re “standing for” since it changes with the wind. No wonder they’re mad.

      The boy who cried wolf.

Funny enough, corporate whore Bill Maher actually explained it to Lefties when Trump got elected, but still couldn’t break out of his hysteria frame. He went off about how George W. and Mitt Romney were “honorable men” and how he and other lefties had overreacted to them and smeared them unfairly, and the result was people stopped listening to Maher and co—-“we cried wolf too much”—about Trump, who of course, according to corporate whore Maher, is a “true fascist.”

It’s like he doesn’t even listen to himself when he’s shrieking:

Romney and McCain were patsies who were chosen to ensure the election of Ozero.

When McCain looked like he had a chance, he chooses Pail as VP and completely self destructs his campaign.

Evil deep state scum the pair of them.

Wow you totally nailed the reason Obama got elected. Forget all about the economy melting down and the country being in a Great Recession, the conspiracy theory involving the Deep State makes total sense.

Keeping up with Jones’ is indeed difficult in Leftist movements. A few years back people like Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, and Sam Harris were the toast of the Left. They were useful then as eloquent enemies of the Christian Right. Of late, it’s been “discovered” that these men are horrible racist, sexist, homophobes who must be sent to a Siberian logging camp post-haste.

On the border “crisis”, we lost the meme war on that one. What we really should have said to all the corporate media folks whining about “child separation”:

“Why are you on the side of child traffickers?”
“Why do you want child prostitutes to stay with their pimps?”
“Why do you want child drug mules to stay with their slave owners?”

It really is telling how much the Left is against separating the child traffickers from the coyotes. It’s almost like all those rumors of pedophilia amongst the Deep State are true.

[CH: i agree we lost the frame on that issue, but trump did the best he could recovering it for our side. you always have to be on the attack against the left, because their sophistry well never runs dry.]

No, he does not. One loss does not a pattern make. This guy took the entire election off the table. The Left coordinated these sob stories with the corporate media, just as they coordinated their response to the FBI-Parkland High school shootings. Trump did the best he could, but the meme was lost here.

I always get two comments from the uninformed 1) Don’t separate the children 2) Why not just send them all back? why is that so hard.

This tells me people don’t want open borders they just don’t realize we give these people due process.

My thoughts are we shouldn’t charge any of the illegals crimes and just ship them all back. Its the arrest that puts them in the legal system. 2 Only take asylum cases from central and south america from our embassies in Mexico. If you ever get caught trying to cross illegally you are barred from asylum forever.

        No, he does not.

Please. His one salvo of the debate was when Hillary led with her chin, otherwise most objective observers called it a draw, at best. No mention of uranium deals and Clinton foundation pay-for-play, no mention of any of the other bullet points the alt-R has been talking about for years now.

And since then, nuthin’ but tweets about how the DoJ should be looking into things, but Comey, CLinton, and the whole rogues gallery still on the loose, with nobody but Weiner seeing jail for sexting a minor, but two guys from our side arrested for “lying to the FBI and Congress”… HA, might as well arrest the whole cadre of PACs and Congress and FBI themselves!

No mention of the plight of South Africans whenever the “refugee” issue comes up? No mention of Arab gangs raping their way through Europe? No mention of X amount of other hot button issues oft spoken of ’round chere, where even a tweet would at least bring these issues to John and Jane Q. Public who, despite our dances of victory about the death of (((MSM))), it’s still alive and well.

And don’t even get me started on the use of ANY of it while n1gger culture and miscegenation are still being broadcast in ALL media, 24/7.

In short, don’t give me that “he doesn’t leave anything on the table” bullshit.

I’ve said it before often enough, he’s the best thing that could happen for us right now, but he’s not the magician, nor champion, some of youse yeggs make him out to be. And the excuses of “he’s got to work slowly, all in due time” while demographics continue to bury us and the culture war is STILL firmly in the control of (((YKW))), ring hollow.

I disagree that we lost meme primacy on this issue. Adult working Americans who tuned into network news came away realizing that our borders are indeed being overrun by illegal immigrants who have been coached to game the system for residency. The Democrat’s full-throated support for this idiocy in addition to clamoring for abolishment of ICE has already cost them the next election cycle.

No contradictions at all. Women have the right to terminate a pregnancy for a variety of personal reasons. And women who decided to have children should not have them taking away from them by a government.

Conservatives aka small government lovers are constantly contradicting themselves. Ripping apart families, having intrusive powers aka the Patriot Act, trying to control women’s bodies are just the tip of the iceberg. So once again you can’t the first to throw the first stone.

Why is abortion even an issue with condoms, iud’s, plan b and birth control pills? Because women are irresponsible as hell and can’t even be bothered to slip on a rubber when they get dicked down. Ban abortion for white people and watch the liberals shriek.

You put 100 percent responsibility for condom usage on women? And if the bigger, stronger male won’t wear one, then what? Also birth control pills are not 100 percent effective. So if a woman is on birth control because she truly doesn’t want or essentially can’t have a kid due to her own reasons, why should she have the burden of a having a child forced on her?

Here’s the thing about that sort of switch; it unfailingly alienates those moderate Christians who only support the Democrats because they think we’re still living in the 1980s. Catholics are (technically) not allowed to politically support abortion. It’s a sin, codified and preached. But the Catholics who care about that also care about “social justice” in it’s pre-Obama church meaning and are legitimately dumb enough to think that the Democrats and shitlibs are on their side. I suspect similar feelings are found in the mainstream Protestant population.

They can only support the Democrats as long as the mask of compassion and charity stays on. Make abortion the issue around which the election must hinge, and you rip that mask clean off. It’s a massive red pill for the religious moderates.

I have no doubt Trump planned this, and good for him. I know far too many otherwise intelligent people who can’t see through the “we want to help children!” lies of the Democrats, and use religion almost as an excuse for not confronting the truth about our politicians.
