From a commenter,
Amazon opens one of the warehouses, usually in a suburban area. Hire local folks, work them in slave labor conditions with quotas so tough that few can meet them. Once they cycle through a couple of turnovers, they claim they can’t get labor locally and then they can get Visa workers dirt cheap on government programs.
They’ve done this repeatedly.
Nailed it. Isn’t Amazonia currently scouting locations for its HQ2 Sperg Dome? Short-list precincts will doubtlessly throw tax incentives at Robber Baron Bezos and sell out their communities and their country for dat sweet, sweet slave labor camp tax base, adding to the local real estate churn as ever more shitlib White families flee for Whiter areas and pay three or four times the median home price for the privilege of allowing themselves to be priced out of their homeland.
It’s as if all of Late Stage America has taken on the high time preference of blacks.
PS President Trump, I know you’re reading, so pay close attention to the following:
TRUST BUST AMAZON

Why don’t they open their new HQ in El Paso?

The ENTIRE immigration industry/movement is and always has been a FUCKING SCAM
The kikes reframed it as a racism issue. I utterly MARVEL at the fucking leftists who “hate” the oligarchs but who will get out and RIOT for a program that gives them nonstop dirt cheap labor that they WILL NOT PAY minimum wage to
The fucking $15 living wage UBI…all this STUPID FUCKING SHIT is like insulin to type 2 diabetes, slapping a fucking drug to cure a problem created by another problem.
Back BEFORE immigration we had living wages. EVERY TIME you argue with a fucking liberal piece of shit, REMIND THEM OF THAT. REMIND them of the 20:1 CEO pay multiple, REMIND THEM of the strong unions, REMIND THEM of the 1-income family units and the relative wealth.
THEN CAME IMMIGRATION, THEN CAME MEXICANS. And look what happened to your fucking vaunted workers (who they hate anyway).
Force them to make it about race then tell them to fuck off and die. Remind them that THEY and their policies destroyed the entire country and made the RICH so rich.

Prior to Jeff Bezos buying Amazon the company was tanking, now a story of his parents 245k investment could make them super wealthy. Funny how (((they))) just stumble on to these investment opportunities. Hilllary and Cattle futures anyone?

Didn’t Baldzos incorporate the business entity himself?

Yes. He did. Clay needs to do a bit of research.
The part about his parents bankrolling him is true. Lots of parents do that – he apparently went to them as a last resort and told them he couldn’t guarantee they would see a dime.

Yeah, they’ve narrowed down their HQ2 to about 20 cities. I think the longshots are those cities they’ve targeted in CA, but you just never know.
My money’s on them building in Austin. Y’know, gotta keep that place weird and all.

All of the techbags and real estate cretins in Austin are splooshing and spooging over the possibility that they open the office here. Never mind that the city is filled with too many @ssholes already and the traffic is worse than LA.
If Baldzos walked the walk instead of being a virtue signaling libtard he’d open the office in Detroit or Gary, IN and hire locals to work there. But he won’t.

That would be a good campaign to cajole the shitlibs into starting…
“Hey, Amazon, why not Camden?”
Or any of the other (ahem) kind of cities you mention (Detroit, Gary, etc.)
I’m sure a large herd of negros and other job seekers of that ilk would be willing to hit the streets at a moment’s notice.

Agree. DC has too many things he wants for it to go anywhere else.
If anything hopefully it will raise wages in tech around here. Arlington just built a couple highrises he should have just bought

There was a time when Amazon prices were always less, but in the past year or so, if you bother to look, they aren’t as great of a deal as they used to be. But it is convenient, and while I’ve cut the cord, avoid ‘public’ schools, quit ‘social’ media, dropping Amazon would actually hurt a bit. Going to the store just sucks anymore with the ugly brown blobs everywhere.
[CH: that’s what bezos is counting on…white consumer disgust with Diversity in the public spaces. it’s why he and his ilk clamor for open borders to the dirt world.]

It does seem odd that no competitor has come on the scene. Is there some legislation that states only Amazon can subsidize his operations with the USPS?

I think the USPS… and the hence the gummint,,, see Amazon as their savior.
For years the story was that the USPS was losing money and the only thing that kept it afloat was catalogues and circulars from brick-n-mortar stores.
Now that the brick-n-mortars are starting to go by way of the dodo, Amazon is the only game in town if ‘Murricans want a viable postal service.

Headquarters 2 is not the same as Warehouse 256. I think people are salivating over it because these will supposedly be for the slave bosses, not the slaves.
[CH: yeah. but keep in mind the white collar coders et al aren’t far removed from being chattel labor themselves.]

I thought the white white collar coders were getting replaced by diversity (h1b visa/India) white collar coders but maybe the normies aren’t up to speed yet and seem to not give a Fu<k because most of the problem has been more isolated to blue collars and they think they're safe as white collars, guess it'll be different when it's happening large scale to the white white collars

AMZN and silicon valley pays very fucking well, too well in fact. They drive people hard – watch that docu on Adderall some of which was about the tech coders who are getting onto this shit to perform at a ridic level hours-wise. They drive but they do pay well like wall street.
But they take less money than whites would have

Think if they put it in Austin, that will be part of the push to get TX over into the blue column. The red v blue battle is far from over.
Walmart seems to be the closest competitor to Amazon these days. Their own ecommerce site isn’t bad and some of their products can be shipped to the nearest Walmart to you for pickup. Yeah, I know, Walmart, home of the fugliest that roam the planet. But still have to start somewhere if you’re serious about doing the anti-Amazon thing. I bought my last piece of furniture from Walmart a little while ago and I have no complaints. I’m not a big shopper, but I’ll keep trying Walmart.com and other alternatives until they fail me.

Walmart.com would likely not be that big on the USPS. If only because they already have their own shipping network of brick & mortar locations. That’s how they can ship for free if you agree to pick up at your local Walmart because they’re already going there frequently no matter what. Hence easy to make space on their trucks for ecommerce shipments.
It has also been interesting to see how Best Buy came back from the brink over the last five years by repositioning themselves viz Amazon. So it is possible to compete in that space, just have to be smart about it to avoid getting turned into roadkill. Same with Gap, people keep writing them off but they’re still alive and paying dividends.
In any case, I agree with CH on busting Amazon. By all means, yes!

I don’t think you can work at a warehouse on H1B visa, it’s also too cost-prohibitive to do so. This is to get more coders from India and China, since living conditions in Silicon Valley and other tech hot spots in the USA is so terrible that people from other countries won’t come – they don’t want to live in a studio apartment with 2 roommates even while getting paid low 6 figures.
It’s really about depressing salaries for tech workers.

I think my city is on the short list for the new Globohomo HQ. Nobody I’ve talked to wants them. We already have a Jo0gle office here along with many other fake make-work-recieve-shekel companies that inflate the cost of living for everyone.
These companies pay you enough to rent a nice upscale apartment with an on site juice bar but then you realize you’re renting at the bottom end of the market and it’s not like you can both save for future ownership and pay Mr. Landlordstein at the same time. Unless these sh!tlibs put their money where their mouth is and move to the diverse neighborhoods that produce 500+ murders a year. Rent is cheap there.

The location of the HQ2 project will eventually be the main headquarters. Amazon wants out of Seattle because of the absurd housing prices and potential for a headcount tax on large corporations being levied by the communist local government. The whole “second hq” project is a veiled slow play to set up shop elsewhere, cheaper.
