williamk’s signal-to-noise ratio is off the charts. Nearly every comment is COTW-worthy. Here he explains how the sexual market gatekeeper role of women and the marriage market gatekeeper role of men influences the politics of each sex.
An interesting interpretation of the data is that among college eds, White Men are watching the women for signals, that is they are only as conservative as they can be and still get laid. While among non-college eds it more likely the opposite, the women will be only as liberal as they can be and still get married.
In both cohorts, the gatekeepers (sex for college eds, marriage for non college eds) set the political trends. Of course, being a liberal doesn’t actually help you get laid, but this is a good take on the general pulse of what’s happening: When men are in control (marriage), women follow the men. When women are in control (sexual access), men follow the women.
This is a parsimonious theory for the ideological split we see between non-college White women and over-credentialed White women. Female college students are on the cock carousel life strategy (whether they actually ride or not is immaterial — the trajectory of their lives will follow a similar path to that of the sex and the city slut who rides all day and night). For these college girls — and note that college girls are dumber today than they were in the past, owing to the lowered admissions standards of McUniversities — they are staring down the barrel of a decade’s worth of premarital sex. So their roles as sexual gatekeepers colors their interactions with men and their relationship to the State. College men, aka soyboys, will dance to the girls’ “welcome rapefugees” tune as long as they believe it gets them within the orbit of their nearest sex dispensary.
Non-college women, in contrast, have their eyes more strongly focused on marriage, because they can’t afford to blow a decade on cock hopping and mimosa brunches. They need a provider (a lot of the immiseration of the working class is a consequence of the lack of suitable provider males). Non-college women will therefore reflect the political views of their men to better sell themselves as marriage-worthy prospects.
A confounding factor to willamk’s theory is that ideology is partly heritable. It may be the case that women more interested in marriage and repulsed by the cock carousel lifestyle tend also to be more conservative in outlook. So college is filling up with the opposite — girls who aren’t as singularly focused on getting married and would prefer to monkey swing from soyboy to soyboy until latching onto a supergoy. Nevertheless, this gatekeeper theory of political affiliation is better than most I’ve read.
Executive summary:
Thirsty betas => shitliberalism
Desperate bachelorettes => shitlordism
I swear you’ll read more perceptive social analysis in one day on this blog than you’ll read in ten years at National Rejew.
FYI, williamk is the man who also introduced to this esteemed Chateau the concept of post-America liberalism as a “status cheating” strategy. Namely, as the nation has become more economically unequal, there are fewer avenues for striver SWPLs to gain real world, objective material and social status, so these locked out SWPLs turn to the raving lunacy of shitlibbery to gain unearned status by parroting anti-White pabulum. The solution to our shitlib problem may in part be returning to a more egalitarian (not “equal”) society marked by rising wages and less status whoring. Think anti-trust, tariffs, closed borders. So far, Trump is hitting two of three. I’m confident he’ll get around to the other one once all the GOPe cucks are jettisoned this November.
PS Do married White women continue voting like their husbands after years of marriage? If so, that would indicate a real shift in power dynamics in which married women mature into strongly identifying with their husband’s worldviews. If not, it would indicate there are social pressures pushing women to abdicate their marital duties.

Here comes the Shitlibbery on campus:
“We will not let the University continue to erase the events of [Aug. 11, 2017] and their complicity in aiding white supremacy,” the student group wrote on Facebook. “We, the students of the University, will be there this year, just as we were there last year.”

Earlier today, (((coworker))) was talking about her daughter going to college to a laxinx coworker.
The daughter wants to work as a shrink in a prison.
The latinx lady was telling (((coworker))) about how she missed out on going to college and she regretted it. She would have liked to have explored and met new people.
Building on their conversation I told them both: you don’t have to go to college to get to jail.
It’s getting harder and harder to bite my tongue but then I think that any snide remark would have a Pyrrhic victory quality to it.
At the end of the day, it ain’t kid

My theory: women are very susceptible to suggestion.
Married women vote like their husbands.
Unmarried women vote according to the opinion of the television.
College women have additional shitlib college programming.

Spot-on. Girls (let’s be honest, they’re all just little girls) are constantly checking which way the wind is blowing, all perceptible suggestions and suggestiveness. It’s nigh involuntary for them, like cell phone towers they just receive and react 95% of the time, whether they want to or not.
Like most of their glaring weaknesses, they hamsterize this weakness into being virtuous, into being ‘in touch’, ‘spiritual,’ or ‘intuitive.’ Because Western men have let them do so. It’s none of those. It’s reactivity and herd mentality, 24-7. It’s fear. They cannot stand on their own.

As inspiring as I find Heartiste’s optimism, I think we are already in the late stages of our civilization past the tipping point. Much of what brought us here is impersonal social and economic forces while the role of ((their)) conscious malevolence and greed is also not to be underestimated. What I do believe is that we are past the point of no return. As good as Trump’s intentions may be (which we don’t know for sure to be honest, he could just as well be a narcissistic populist as a noble savior), he is just trapped within the confines of ((this year and age)).The current society will be destroyed completely before a new one can rise out of the ashes.

Yes, this situation is dire. The (((Marxists/Leftists))) and their goy useful idiots are hurtling us to the blood-storm. It will be messy, but necessary like popping a blood-blister to relieve the pressure and pain. In the meantime, GEOTUS Trump making their heads explode is great entertainment. Whitey will prevail. We have all of the guns.

why do you think they need to destroy marriage and the nuclear family?

Yes they do and always do, or they are no longer married to the man. Money and Family may be the major reasons for divorce. But I have seen plenty of massive fights over politics between spouses, especially in this environment.

yes if they wish to remain married. I see this dynamic a lot.

“Think anti-trust, tariffs, closed borders.”
And then think Overton Window (hate that expression, prefer ‘anchoring,’) for EVERYTHING else…. begin accusing every non-white tribe of invasion, cultural appropriation, asset-hoarding and economic nepotism. And genocide, thru immigration and miscegenation. Push for every political initiative to end the sale of contraceptives, to end abortion, to end diversity quotas in schools and corporations, and all other pro-women egalitarian nonsense. To end porn and even soft-porn magazines like Cosmo, Vogue, Maxim, etc. To end all public displays of indecency in advertising or so-called ‘art.’ Go full-bore. Get married, get bunz in the oven, saddle your White Woman with chillins and home duties, then ruthlessly shame and/or question any white woman who is not at home or in a convent.
White wimmenz will freak, cry, complain, and then slowly begin to see it’s either hang with their own White Men and 2000 years of Badassery and Beauty, protection and creature comforts, or choke on the dusty trail of tears to Dindustan and Dirttown.

“National Rejew” should be “National Yidview”

In my experience, yes. Got married 10 years ago to a girl from a staunch Democrat family (her grandpa was a very famous and influential US Senator for over 30 years). To the consternation and confusion of her family, from day 1 she began re-adjusting her political views to align with my own.
I truly don’t know how anyone can stay married if the couple holds opposing political views. So many of the positions held by lefties/democrats are insane. Knowing your wife held these types of beliefs would be a daily reminder that you chose to marry someone incapable of rational thought and lacking entirely in common sense.
[CH: i’ve dated and banged a lot of women with polar opposite political views, but that’s a different beast entirely than wifing them up for the long haul. for one thing, when the chick gives me lip about my views, i have the freedom to bolt.]

I’ve been married to my husband for nearly 20 years. We were together for 5 before that. He was a liberal when I married him and while he’s gotten slightly more conservative he’s still a lot more liberal than I. I was the more conservative one both then and now. So no, I don’t vote like my husband and never have. Two of the three kids are a lot more conservative than he is as well.
[CH: conservative wife-liberal husband is a very rare pairing. which of you two gets more aggravated when the topic turns to world views?]

Me. I have little tolerance for BS. And logic is very important to me. Being female I take a mental winding road to the logical outcome but I see things a lot more clearly than many of the men I know. DH has learned to trust me when I make statements about things or people because I’m nearly always right in the end. I think he dislikes it though. The rose colored glasses just don’t want to come off.

Virtue signalling is status stealing. Why go through the effort of being virtuous, when you can feign it and get the same reward. This goes double when the moral universe is inside out, and the virtue signal is “Look how immoral I am!”

Also: in high trust societies, virtuousness is of high value, and therefore the incentive to cheat by virtue signalling is high. The corollary to that is that those caught in virtue signalling in a high trust society are almost universally condemned – see the universal disdain of hypocrisy in the US.
OTOH, in low trust societies no one is really expected to be honest or moral, and therefore there is less incentive to virtue signal, and as such hypocrisy in these societies is given little more than a shrug.

I definitely noticed this over the years:
Non college educated women will slut it up, but always within some context of a LTR, no matter how faked at the time. Doesn’t matter if she goes from chaste wife to cheating whore in six months. By the time she’s gotten new penis more than three times she’s already framing and hamstering it as a new relationship with a “good guy who really loves my kids”. I got thrown for a loop when I hit mid-20’s and my social circle broadened to include women who weren’t on the college track. I knew they were the craziest of sluts but they acted like faithful wives/girlfriends. But its just an act.
I had been accustomed to college girls and even with “Good” “Christian” girls the atmosphere is that sex, if it happens, is just sex for the sake of sex. The overtones and even drama conversations all revolve around the machinations of how to handle one’s romantic and social life when the primary message you want to send to your partners is “that was just a screw. I have homework now, maybe I’ll call you next week”
The sluttery is real, and consistent. Its the act that’s different. You can kinda see how things worked pre-coed college where at least the whores knew you can’t act like a whore.
But eventually you learn that “I’m a good wife, I’d never cheat on my husband” is too little too late. She’s been thinking about cheating and probably with you.
