You can see something is wrong with her on the Rome episode of Parts Unknown. Bourdain was cynical about his product, but he was ultimately optimistic about authenticity and loyalty.
That said, if you want a taste of his artistic proclivities, a good quarter of the show in Rome is dedicated to Pier Paulo Passolini, whose “Salò, or 120 Day in Sodom” is credited both as pornography and an anti-capitalist anti-fascist horror movie.
All in all, just check out the tattoos and make up your mind. You don’t need to bother with “The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things”, in which Argento plays a white trash “mom” alongside her alleged victim in a bout of creepy poverty porn.
