*Note that the relationship between skin darkness and various traits deleterious to civilized society exist within races as well as between races. A darker skinned asian would be dumber, more criminally impulsive than a lighter skinned asian, for example. But the dumbness/criminality association with skin darkness has to be normed to each racial group’s average propensity, which means that lighter skinned populations will in general be less antisocial than will darker skinned populations.

There is sicilian and sicilian (in Sicily too).
You can find the workaholic entrepreneur (like Stefano Dolce of Dolce &Gabbana), and the lazy one (often in public offices), and the cunning one.
Of course, you find less lazy ones and cunning ones among the locals, but locals are a smaller and smaller part of Milano. Hearng local dialect in a local bar is rare. (and believe me, entering a bar, and hearing/speaking local dialect is heartwarming).

I love Rushton, and the premise is obvious as a motherfucker… but this a fairly sloppy meta-analysis and I don’t see him even attempt a convincing theory that this an effect at the melancortin system level. It is more likely a side effect of what happens when Men choose (they like lighter skin females who aren’t cunts… race melds that direction) vs when Women choose (they like men darker than them who are aggressive… race moves that direction), and various gradations in between. There are many different alleles at play, many different systems. I’m not moved by the melanocortin theory.
Getting a tan won’t make me turn into Antonio Cromartie and getting vitiligo won’t make a nag turn into George Washington.

Yeah, it sounds good and even ties into anecdotally-derived expectations, but what about the pale-as-fuck and aggressive-as-fuck Vikings, Vandals, Goths, and even, to an extent, the Greeks?

Eh, that sounds a bit like “well, white men kill people too!!” line of liberal reasoning.
The differences here affect more immediate decision making by individuals, not group behavior. In fact, quite the opposite. Darker, more impulsive, and more aggressive civilizations fail to even organize effective warfighting forces because their societies are just so degenerate and chaotic. Conquering foreigners, especially across water, is a thinking man’s project and capable only by societies that can organize and coordinate such an activity.
The white barbarians still managed to beat the Romans. The Africans never beat anyone.

Agreed. It is just a side effect but still useful in assessing what is generally going to be the overall mental ability of a given population. And I think we are mostly just talking about the ability to understand basic reasoning at the higher ends of the IQ spectrum, the ability to think about abstract concepts and probabilities requires AT LEAST a 110 IQ or higher. That is why we are fucked.

Early 90’s I worked in a blue color trade and the boss hired a Mexican. Javier was light skinned, spoke passable english and was a model employee. Trojan Horse alert! Over the years, he had a ready supply of amigos to join us as the business expanded. While most of them were hard workers, as I think back, the darker skinned ones seemed almost primitive. While Javier looked at you with comprehension and understanding, talking to a few of them was like talking to a goat as they just looked at you with dead eyes.

Our skin, though the largest organ in our body, is just a manifestation of our genome/genetics (but, it is good that God color-coded the non-whites for us). Non-Caucasians possess a genome that is not fully human as is possessed by us whiteys. Thus, they are not in the case of niggers (a sub-human anthropoid), human, or in the case of browns, reds, yellows, fully human. God does make mistakes, and we do live in an evil fallen world. Demons are not necessarily just beings that exist on a spiritual/ethereal plane.

I am doubtful that pigmentation itself is a bio chemical cause, rather than a correlation with other “tropical genes” from a population evolved from thousands of generations of easy living where bad personality traits don’t get weeded out by mother nature or Sumerian Kings chopping the heads off of the dim wit thugs, wild men, and psychopaths.

The paper is from 2012. Any valid evidence based refutations of the conclusion since then?
First paragraph of the conclusion:

I suppose this further explains why white women tend to be more attracted to darker-skinned white guys than paler ones, as their hindbrains associate male swarthiness with higher levels of aggression.

what they REALLY want is the unapologetically-tribal WHITE guy. there aren’t many of those available. it’s a seller’s market on that so ideally you should have nothing to complain about.

Studies have shown the opposite. White women are attracted to white men and darker men are a turn off. The only white women who go for non whites in real life are mentally ill or fugly. The white women wanting dark men meme is created and pushed by the (((usual suspects)))

I could see there being some hormonal link..but it also could be something simple like winter requires restraint. Gun violence has a strong correlation to distance from the equator too.
