And how would his goals match keeping a swamp dweller like Rosenstein in a powerful position, or a lackluster like Sessions, rather than some real go-getters that one would have to figure would be better choices… who could have already been well on the way to fulfilling some actual MAGA goals?

I’m inclined to go with Vox Day’s and Anon Conservative’s speculations that there is a tectonic scale house cleaning going on, with Trump as its public face. I always knew it was a long shot, but I, and everyone else wanted to try one more time with Trump. You can call that foolish or naive, but, if Trump fails, we have nothing left besides the obvious second amendment solution, I don’t think you can blame me for trying to avoid that outcome.
Based upon Trump’s actions, and his associations, including his precious Ivanka, its increasing hard for me to believe that he’s just a well-meaning guy who stumbled into the presidency not knowing what to expect. He’s either a 4-d chess playing strategic genius, or he’s not. He’s had decades of insider info, that told him how the system works in Washington, At this point there is no room for good boy naivety. Trump had his chance right after the election, when his supporters would have marched on Washington if Trump had asked them too. That moment is long gone.
