Kudos to anonymous for this stellar reframe,
Look at it this way.
Most “men” stay with a woman because they fear losing what they have.
What they should be asking themselves instead is this:
“Why am I willing to lose the potential of all other options in life for this one person?”
If you don’t have a rock solid answer for that, then she’s not worth keeping.
Love is weighing all your competing options, present and future, in the balance and judging them wanting compared to the woman you call yours.
What is not love: gratitude for being rescued by your woman from a life of romantic famine.

You appraise woman just like you appraise cars. Find flaws.

“Getting a used car is buying someone else’s headaches.”
This approach definitely has merit. Interesting perspective, sir.

I’ve had good luck with used cars… any issues with those can be fixed…
… used women, no so much. 😉

yep
see it all the time
many people i know are in crap relationships with people they shouldn’t be with, only because they didn’t want to be alone. usually because it was easy too. the other person fell in their lap at a time when they were lonely so they jumped in without thinking, just let it happen or whatever
that’s no way to live your life.
have to be the director of your own life. make choices for yourself instead of letting life make them for you

Well, women all have this attitude now, and look where we are.
The rock solid answer is without f4ail1es we will be replaced, and that’s not compatible with perpetual cadhood.
[CH: it’s the difference between copping an attitude and having real options. a man with no options might do best to settle into a loveless relationship]

you don’t have to be a lifetime cad
point is that you need to be discerning about who you commit your life to
tying yourself permanently to a crap woman for life isn’t good for you or any family you might have.
staying with a garbage woman out of obligation, fear of being alone, only for the kids, or whatever, is not doing yourself or society any favors.
she will be a shiz role model/teacher/guide for your kids, you and your relationship will be a shitty example for them, and they’ll grow up with all kinds of problems.
key is to have standards and don’t settle for garbage people just because you don’t want to be alone.
once you meet that girl who you can easily say is worth giving up the cad lifestyle, other girls, etc, that’s when you stay

CH is right though. a loveless unfulfiling and empty relationship is the best some men can do. so they buy in
i’d rather be alone than live like that

Society is simply no longer making women that are wife material.

The dating couple, him a tall 6’3″ and not bad looking, her a petite 5’2″ but a ballbuster, sit side by side on the couch. The lights are low, the television is on but nearly muted, and a quiet hush has fallen between them.
He holds her hand — a little too tightly.
“This is going to be hard for me to say,” he begins hesitantly. She opens her mouth to speak but he forestalls it with a raised hand. “Gimme a minute. I gotta collect myself. There. I’ve been thinking. I saw two really cute girls on the street today, and they looked pleasant. I haven’t gotten pleasant from you in a long time. Maybe it’s time we split.”
She turns angry, about to launch into venomous spittle blaming him again for everything.
He turns hard, convinced. No, it IS time we went out separate ways.”

SEE THIS? A LITTLE VIGNETTE OF THE WAY IT SHOULD GO DOWN IN ROMANTIC-LAND, IN TV-LAND. HE TAKES HER BY THE HAND FIRMLY AND SETS HER STRAIGHT ON THE ROAD TO CORRECTNESS — AND RESOLVES TO PURSUE THE FEW REMAINING CUTIES IN HIS TOWN IF IT’S THE LAST THING HE DOES. GOOD FOR OUR NORMATIVE CHARACTER.
THE (RE)DISCOVERY OF HIS GONADS DOES HIM A WORLD OF GOOD, AND EVEN IF HE FAILS, THE LI’L BITCH WILL BE BEGGING FOR HIM IN TWO MONTHS WHILE HE’LL BE AT WORK WHERE HE’LL HAVE RECEIVED A PROMOTION FOR HIS STERLING NEW ATTITUDE OF CONFIDENCE, STAT.
Shado.

Also, as a side note, I doubt that Looch and SorceryBlob are the same person.
Looch comes across as a belligerent primitive with little to say.
Sorcery comes across as a smarmy oddball with all too much to say. 😉
And with that said, I personally still find their weirdness to add somewhat to the amusement value of the Chateau. Unless Sorcery goes into his “every other post is a bit of Sorcery weirdness,” of course.

Looch used to post under various monickers, going through a half-dozen or so odd ones in quick time after having posted here for awhile as Wrong Side Of History, and perhaps even the uh… although the latter two were at least a bit less muh dik and had an occasional thought of interest, antiWhite or antiChristian though said thought be…
But his pösting career as Looch is something the chateau gains little by.
But Saucy Queer is another case altogether… I suppose.for amusement sake his ghai ramblings are tolerated, within reason…
… but I’d warn against too much encouragement. 😉

I have no problem with Saucery (Sorcery God, Midnight Dice, X Deeper Loveli Seksi, Ocean Shado). Coming from roughly the same neck of the woods, I suppose I’ve cut him some slack. Some of his posts are funny and remind me of little vignettes that come on in between TV shews or movies.
Looch started out posting as Divine Son of Kek, and was unaffectionately referred to as Deviant Slag of Kike. Those posts were somewhat antagonistic. He then morphed into Wrong Side of History, Wrong Side Luciano, and then Looch. I may have missed a few mutations. Deviant Slag is on record as calling himself a Jewish Homosexualist, so be forewarned.

What should a man do if a solid relationship with a less than ideal woman was integral in making him a better man who could now feasibly obtain the kind of woman he *really* wants?

you thank her for helping you see what kind of woman you don’t want and waking you up to the fact you can do better, then you get out of dodge and start living a better life immediately. you only get one life. don’t waste it

Here you have the conundrum for why everyone compromises. You don’t know what your options in the future will be and you don’t have the wisdom to understand life well enough to make a decision. One of the fundamental built-in modes of approaching life is “Better the devil you know than the angel you don’t.”

I always heard it “Better the devil you know than a new one.”
Ain’t no angel in the maxim, because an angel will ALWAYS be better than a demon/devil.

I have always believed that women are very much like dogs and horses. Not only in terms of a certain limited and parochial outlook, but more specifically in actual relationships. A man has utterly unique relationships with his daily companion canine and high performance horse. You cannot truly communicate with either dog or horse, the former intuiting tone and demeanor as much a language and the latter comprehends almost entirely by dint of weight distribution and touch.
Similarly, women may use words or even speak the same language but certainly place little or no actual weight to their underlying verbiage beyond the immediately expedient. Equally, if you would enter into a relationship with a dog or a horse it is with the understanding that they will not last as long as you do and one day you will not only have say good bye but may need be the actual instrument of their death. Any man who has owned a good dog knows how hard it is to watch your friend age before your eyes knowing what you must do, and every serious horseman recognizes when his athletic partner is no longer up to campaigning with the intensity and power of days gone by.
Let me stop for a moment, if it need be said to the children and trolls I am most certainly NOT advocating you kill your woman. I am only acknowledging the reality of their circumstance. That voluptuous creature with the supernatural skin and a face you cannot stop gazing into is not going to age well, the most she can do is put a better or worse face on the inevitable decline. As with your dog and horse a prescription may help them for the nonce but the end of the road is always in the back round.
Unless you yourself are out of control you will watch her decline at a very different rate than you will. Thus, how can a man put his Life on hold for this fleeting image? Run off to You porn or somewhere similar, pick the custom beauty of your wildest fantasy, how much of your Life, your mission, your goals and dreams would you lay aside to stare at her? How much fire will you extinguish for her? That’s a microcosm of what you would do to pedastal-ize her and postpone your true self. There are no do-overs in anything that seriously counts. That and whoever she may be, she doesn’t have the only one made.

I had a buddy like this. His woman’s been cheating on him during their entire relationship going back 20+ yrs. He’s a total doormat and she walks all over him, it’s pathetic. What’s hilarious is he thinks she ‘loves’ him and that he’s a total player. The broad brought home the clap from a ‘business’ trip one time, and she told him she must’ve got it from a toilet seat! And he bought it! What a fucking joke. Unreal how co-dependent some people are.

that is a sad story indeed
my ex cheated so i get how that can happen. she was a shitshow in all her other relationships, i ignored a lot of other red flags as well. i thought i’d learned enough game to manage her so she’d be faithful and decent to me. big mistake.
once a bitter, feminist, whore always a bitter, feminist, whore. they can fake being a decent woman for awhile but they never truly change who they are at their core
having said that, i can understand how even a man with good game can get cucked, but i can’t imagine staying with her after she’s cheated, that is the point of no return. staying after she’s done it more than once, or brought home and STD? no way in hell
