Αμήν. Kind of similar to something i have always thought. You know how the men are the head of women, and men to God etc. Corinthians 11:3 . I always thought how even if someone is not religious, we are all still slave to something. To our nature? Women will submit, always. It is the nature.it just might not be to her husband, now. Maybe to career, to boyfriends etc. We are humans, we can not escape thus fundamental part of wanting to submit. And men will always follow something bigger than themselfes.. if it is not God, it is a lifestyle.

You know what – are all in the same boat in seeking the sublime and the transcendent. When I “submit” to a career (whatever that means), it doesn’t mean I am more docile or submissive than you are, regardless of what your Bible may say. My mother was devoted to her husband and children and had little interest in politics, (unless there was some sex scandal I dare say), and simply voted for the party my father supported. To this day I know families – white families – where the women in the family look to the man of the house when it comes to voting. That’s why I don’t really get it when they talk about “the woman’s vote”.

I used to curl 165 times 9 back in army days and hurt my wrist on straight bar
but yea curling when I start lifting again is always trying to make my arms lock up
