The simple reason why people are having less sex is because people are ALONE less.
Today it’s really rare for high school kids and even college kids to date. They go in a group and “hang out” or some other group activity. And Young men passively accept this situation.
I can’t tell you the number of 20 something men that when I ask “did you take the girl you were chatting up at the party home or somewhere?” They look at me like I’m an alien talking about cow mutilation.
In Asia (Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea) it’s very rare for women to go out with a man. If these women do “hook up” or even marry it’s like after 2 years of being friends and doing things together.
Developed world men are so passive toward women. These Men expect the women to just provide a green light icon at every interaction to proceed. Women are not wired like that. Women don’t want the responsibility of leading the relationship. They want a man to take the lead and move the relationship forward. If a man wishes to be alone and put moves on a woman he has to assert that intention and do it.
Somehow in our equalist society we have lost this very primal fact of human behavior.

Many older post-Wall or Wall-approaching women have the same desires as younger women — to be led by a charming man to romantic abandon — but they don’t have the sexual allure anymore to coax that from men, so they lash out at male figures who flitted in and out of their lives when they were younger, hotter, tighter (and looser), so in their aggrieved spite at the God of Biomechanics they retcon their past sexual experiences that didn’t lead to love and marriage as male predation rather than the sexy male assertiveness it really was and which had stolen their nubile hearts.

Thanks to hookup cultcha, “dating” means “fucking” in high school. Girls that don’t want to fuck yet travel in groups. A lot keep on doing this in college. I’ve tried to ask this before in a letter, CH, but how does a person make friends? Maybe other commenters can help.
It’s frustrating that I don’t even get to play. I am supposedly entering my prime, but it doesn’t feel like that – I don’t think anybody really knows me or seeks me out. The 4chan meme is real about the social life of a young man is talking with his mother.

Go to places where you feel you will have something in common with those around you, if you feel that you are not that popular you could always find people who do not have a thrilling social life as they will have more time for you, all it takes is a few questions to suss out how similar someone is to you. For instance if you talk to people that have a big social life you are unlikely to be friends with them unless you have a big social life yourself as a popular person may feel embarrassed about being friends with someone they regard as a loner, on the other hand just talk to people and see where it goes.

Be in the same place regularly as others are. Season ticket holder at hockey games, that bar stool or table on specific nights for specific times watching sportsball, a library near a college once a week at the same time. The gym, running track, shooting range, etc. Some guy you’ve never seen before is going to be more likely seen as a try-hard. Someone that’s been seen before, who smiles and waves, recognizes a face and remembers your name? That’s a natural, not a try-hard.

Join a club of like minded people. You probably seek meaningful conversation and associate it with friendship. Most people are superficial and stupid. Avoid them.

I don’t think you need to go blow money on game tickets and over priced beer in shoddy sportsbars for that. I think the issue is that you live in your head too much(this applies to both friends and approach) and the more you avoid taking action when an opportunity arises, the more your thoughts turn negative or give you more negative emotions.
What I suggest if this is the case is that you go out of the house for whatever reason you’d find enjoyable and get reference experiences where you take action. Try to think of something where there are girls too(guys that never have mixed company aren’t too well adjusted socially and you’ll pick up bad habits because their approval and friendship will feel good) and that isn’t expensive. Having experiences will give you something to talk about and both failures and successes will teach you how to be more social in a good way.
And if by friends you mean people you trust and that’d help you out, you find those by meeting a bunch of people and choosing those that’d do that. You’ll get burned in this quest in different ways, but you’ll find spotting predatory behavior in others easier.
Even with just men and their sense of fairness, you have people ranging from those who give without a concern for how equal the balance is insofar as both parties concern themselves with the relationship being fair – the type who tries to make it win-win regardless of fairness(the type who if he makes easy money, will pay more insofar as you’re cool and trust worthy), to those who penny pinch with childhood friends, to those who will take advantage if you let them, to those that will fuck your girlfriend if they end up alone(if he’s good, he might even if you’re an awesome guy sadly cuz feelz and tinglz). You’ll get a sense of who is who if you go out and you’ll fuck up by trusting the wrong men and the wrong women, but you’ll learn faster than you expect to intuitively tell who is who. It will be funny to start describing women how they’re like based on meeting girls like them before. I suggest doing something cheap because you want fucking up not to cost that much.
I said all this because it sounds like you need what I needed to do which is just do shit and try to get better. There’s no other way to get from living inside your head to being at ease and cool other than busting a move basically. Also don’t be afraid to say stupid shit. You’d be surprised by how much people tolerate. Lol.
BTW, you should think of being social like it’s an actual game to amuse yourself. It will make you care emotionally for the approval of others less.

I tend to think young men are internalizing the perception that attempting to isolate a young woman from the herd is the kind of thing that, these days, will get the young man expelled from polite society. But it does seem different now. When I was a kid, there were always at least a few neer-do-wells around to keep life fun and interesting, and keep the girls swooning. Maybe that’s what is meant by “passive”: the loss of the formerly typical teenage male impulsiveness.

Captain : I totally understand, and agree, that physical attraction is very important for a woman these days – in fact it’s something I strongly believe that many game advocates take (almost) completely for granted, that a man’s appearance and physique (essentially, just how tall, jacked, and chisled his jaw is) is not nearly as important as his ‘game’ – lmfao
It’s just that the ‘apex alpha’ – and, more important, his attainability to them – of many a woman’s delusional fantasies (very tall, super-strong, AND very rich and handsome to boot) represent barely over 1% of the male population.
